Liza is the national organizer for the FOR Colombia Program and coordinates the campaign to end US Militarism in Colombia. She first went to Colombia in 1997 and it has had a hold on her heart and mind ever since. She started out organizing a grassroots solidarity group in New Orleans, later participated in and lead delegations to Colombia through various organizations and most recently worked for Peace Brigades International in Bogota as a volunteer accompanying threatened human rights defenders in Colombia. She is also a singer/songwriter in her free time.
